Do you have old family paper documents and other valuables? Would you like to learn some simple and basic methods to keep them safe to pass on to subsequent generations?
Join paper conservator Cassandra Tang as she leads a workshop that will cover how best to protect and store paper-based items to slow degradation and prolong longevity of personal keepsakes. As a bonus, participants will also get a chance to see some of the materials used by conservators to conserve and display NAS’ and NLB’s collections.
Inspired by Cheong Soo Pieng: Layer by Layer, this is the second of a series of workshops exploring materials and conservation, and the work of conservators in the museum world.
