Dive into The Sea is a Field, where the Singapore Art Museum Fellowship programme spills its secrets on artists trying to crack the code of sailing between Port Dickson and Singapore. There’s no straightforward route, just a wild August 2023 journey weaving through Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore on local ferries. Charles Lim works his magic with video, while Simryn Gill adds her flair with photography and text. This raw, untouched portside gem becomes the ultimate playground for artists playing hide-and-seek with distances and closeness in their creative space.

The Sea is a Field is running from now till 21 April 2024 at the Singapore Art Museum, Level 1, Block 37, Tanjong Pagar Distripark. Opening hours are from 10am to 7pm daily. Admission is free.
