Writing and translating stories focused on Indian women across India, Malaysia, and Singapore, these writers shed light on oppressive structures that hinder women from claiming their rightful equal status in society. How are Indian feminine archetypes across these countries varied, and where do they share similarities? Join this bilingual conversation about how writing can be used as resistance against social injustices to Indian women in these speakers' countries.

This conversation will be conducted in English with Tamil interpretation and includes a Q&A session. Audience members can feel free to speak in either English or Tamil.
