Ronan O’Hora has performed extensively throughout the world, playing with orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, BBC Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, English Chamber Orchestra, Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Zurich Tonhalle, Indianapolis Symphony, Netherlands Radio Chamber, Brno Philharmonic, Florida Philharmonic and Queensland Philharmonic. He has performed in every major European country as well as the USA, Canada, Australasia and South Africa, and appeared at many of the leading festivals including Salzburg, Gstaad, Ravinia, Montpellier, Bath, Harrogate and Brno. He has a discography of over thirty concerto and solo recordings for EMI, Virgin Classics, Tring International, Dinemic and Fone labels.


Ronan O’Hora has been Head of Keyboard Studies at Guildhall since 1999 and Head of Advanced Performance Studies since 2008. Many of his students have been prize winners in leading international piano competitions and many are also on the faculty of conservatories around the world. He regularly gives masterclasses internationally and sits on juries of many international piano competitions. He is Visiting Professor at Tokyo College of Music and Honorary Professor at the China Conservatory.
