Event Details

Plants are vital to human existence for they provide the oxygen that we breathe. Plants, too, can be a source of sustenance for writers, providing content and inspiration to the texts that we write.

If you wish to break your writer’s block or exercise your creativity, this creative writing workshop is ideal for you. Over three hours, you will be guided through a contemplation on plants, their constituent parts and actions to help you generate new text. Whether you are a poet or prose writer, this workshop caters to writers of all genres and experience levels, and is guaranteed to make you approach writing with a fresh perspective. Plus, you’ll get to take home a plant cutting from Verena’s garden!

Participants should be aged 16 and above, be fluent with the English language and have their own writing materials at hand. The venue is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. There is cat in the venue, however antihistamines are available in the pantry area for anyone with allergies.
