Wellness Festival Singapore 2023 is back and better than ever, with more than 180 exciting programmes lined up across the island over a span of three weeks. From 17 June to 9 July 2023, take your pick from various holistic activities designed to help you relax, recharge and rejuvenate your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

So much to do, so little time? Here are seven of our top picks that will refresh your mind, body, and soul.

1. Wellness Experience Space

The ultimate anchor event of Wellness Festival Singapore, the Wellness Experience Space is a multi-sensory extravaganza that will leave you feeling inspired and oh-so-good.

Release all those pent-up feelings by getting your body moving with slacklining and punching bags, and find some inner peace with mesmerising ASMR cubes, an aromatic journey through the 'urban jungle', and a jamming sound bath. Explore holistic wellness with immersive masterclasses and workshops and even nourish your mind with an array of deliciously healthy treats and refreshing drinks.

Wellness Experience Space is running from 17 June to 9 July 2023 at Event Plaza, Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956 (Near Rain Oculus, outdoors boardwalk). Admission is free.

2. Drawing The Self

Mirror, mirror on the wall, can you recall what you see? And if you were to draw your self-portrait, where would you begin? Self-care is all about getting in touch with yourself and this whimsically creative journey led by artist Dahlia Osman is all about bringing your unique essence to life on the canvas and creating a masterpiece that is YOU in a playful and exploratory drawing workshop.

Drawing The Self takes place on 24 June and 1 July 2023 at National Gallery Singapore, City Hall Wing, Level 5, Rooftop Studios, Singapore 178957, with sessions between 10am to 12pm. Tickets are priced at $20 per person.

3. Drawing Connections

Nagomi art is all about the journey as you embrace its creative process and the calming, relaxing effects this Japanese art form can have on its artist. Free the Picasso within you and dive into a space where you can connect with your creative side and take heart in a mindful and calming experience. Using pastels, you'll learn relaxing techniques to create your own masterpiece, inspired by the National Museum of Singapore's iconic dome.

Drawing Connections takes place on 1 July 2023 at The Salon, National Museum of Singapore, 93 Stamford Road, Singapore 178897, with two sessions between 2pm to 3.30pm, and 3.45pm to 5.15pm. Tickets are priced at $25 per person.

4. HUSH Silent Teabar

There’s beauty in silence, and there’s the HUSH Silent Teabar – a unique experience that celebrates the art of tea while guided by a crew of talented deaf TeaRistas. Pause, reflect, and indulge in a calming journey of self-care and social inclusion like never before as you enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

HUSH Silent Teabar takes place on 30 June and 7 July at National Gallery Singapore, City Hall Wing, Level 5, Rooftop Studios, Singapore 178957, between 5.30pm to 7pm. Tickets are priced at $30 per person.

5. Scents-ing: Aroma Workshop for 2

Prepare to immerse yourself in a world of scents and mindful art appreciation with Prachi Saini Garg, the founder of Scentopia Singapore, as your guide. Unlock your creativity and take inspiration for your chosen scents from the selected pieces of artwork from the UOB Southeast Asia gallery as you craft a one-of-a-kind fragrance as a special souvenir to take home with you.

Scents-ing: Aroma Workshop for 2 takes place on 23 and 28 June 2023 at National Gallery Singapore, Level 1, Supreme Court Foyer, Singapore 178957, between 6pm to 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at $25 per person and participants are encouraged to attend as a pair.

6. Somatic Movement: Art of Silat

Getting your body moving can improve both your physical and mental state of mind and Somatic Movement: Art of Silat will definitely have you doing so in this hands-on, action-packed workshop. Unleash your inner warrior and take a step into the thrilling world of silat, a traditional martial art rooted in Malay culture! The comprehensive two-hour session is led by Hafeez, who’s ready to have you conquering the basics and mastering this combative art form in no time.

Somatic Movement: Art of Silat takes place on 2 and 9 July 2023 at National Gallery Singapore, City Hall Wing, Level 2, DBS Singapore Gallery, Singapore 178957, with sessions between 8.30am to 10.30am. Tickets are priced at $35 per person.

7. Beats Therapy Performance

If you’re game for a more intense workout or looking to relieve some stress, Beats Therapy Performance will have you unleashing your fitness beast in an epic Metcon and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout. Get pumping to the beats of a thematic live DJ set that incorporates different Beats Per Minute (BPM) to maximise your performance with a boost of heart-pumping adrenaline and take your workout to new heights.
