Basic Silversmithing
A beginners course, structured to introduce participants to use of tools, workshop discipline, materials and the techniques of making simple jewellery.Simple and practical techniques in jewellery such as sawing, piercing, filling, soldering, texturing, coloring and finishes will be taught,The course also covers the use of tools and equipment, safety and precautions.Students will make pieces of their own design in silver including : pendants, rings etc. silver included in the cost of this course.
Main Techniques : Soldering, Piercing, Shaping, Polishing to perfection
*Sterling Silver is used , however if a different metal is required do feel free to let us know
