Smartphone Filmmaking Workshop
Interested in making your own short film but stuck on how to start? Are you curious about all the exciting new features of your smartphone and how it can be used to make visually compelling stories? Smartphone Filmmaking is the perfect introduction to filmmaking for first-time filmmakers! Participants will learn pre-production skills (i.e. how to storyboard, come up with a script, cinematography techniques, lighting and sound knowledge), engage in film production (i.e. how to cast, direct, and do production management), and post-production (i.e. film editing).
The workshop includes on-location, hands-on camera work and consultation as participants work together in teams to complete individual short films. No fancy gear needed!
It is highly recommended that participants use their own mobile phones in this class.
