Towards the Light《奔向光明》 [G]
Curated by SCO Associate Conductor Moses Gay, this concert is inspired by Liu Changyuan's Light, which will debut in Singapore at this concert. SCO Erhu II Principal Zhu Lin and SCO Dizi musician Lim Sin Yeo will be performing the diyin erhu piece Fantasia of the Western Regions and the dizi piece Cascades. The concert will also feature Wang Yunfei’s Grand Tide from Portraits of Qiantang River, Nanyang-style Garden Veils among other exciting works.
