Break in the Clouds – presented by Singapore Youth Ballet Company - is a heartfelt modern ballet that traces the emotional journey of a dancer-turned-teacher facing a mid-career crisis. While witnessing her students' growth, she begins to feel the weight of routine and longs for the stage she once graced. As an audience member, her passion for dance is reignited, but she must reconcile her desire to perform with her commitment to teaching. Ultimately, she channels her love for dance into her students, guiding them to shine on stage and finding renewed fulfillment through their success.
This will be a performance with five Acts, with 62 talented SYBC dancers. The performance will be held at the beautiful NUS UCC Theatre, on 1st December 2024.
After the performance SYBC will be announcing scholarship winners from our partner institutions.
