In this special tour, exhibition co-curator Roy Ng will bring you through artist Teo Eng Seng’s practice across seven decades. Explore Teo’s paintings, paperdyesculp works, sculptures and large-scale installations in a non-chronological order, and delve deeper into the ways the broader environment he has lived, worked and taught in has resonated with him emotionally to result in his works.
ABOUT THE CURATOR
Roy Ng is Assistant Curator at National Gallery Singapore. He co-curated the exhibitions "Living Pictures: Photography in Southeast Asia" (Dec 2022–Aug 2023) and "Nam June Paik: The Future is Now" (Dec 2021–Mar 2022). He completed an MSt in History of Art and Visual Culture from Trinity College, University of Oxford.
This programme is held at Singtel Special Exhibition Gallery 1 (near Lift Lobby B), Level 3, City Hall Wing, National Gallery Singapore.
