Esplanade Presents | Voices Festival The Idea of North (Australia) A Cappella Workshop
The Idea of North (TION) invites harmony singers of all skill levels to join them for an interactive workshop. Tailored specifically for Voices Festival 2024, the group will guide participants through exercises focused on blend and balance, the impact of lyric interpretation on music choices, and a rhythm and groove bootcamp led by the group’s Vocal Percussionist, Kai Kitamura. Additionally, participants will gain insights into how TION transforms popular songs into their own unique versions. Participants will also learn excerpts from TION’s repertoire and leave the workshop ready to sing.

Rating/Age Limit
- Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance.
- Infants in arms or children below the age of 13 shall not be admitted.
- Children aged 13 years and above must purchase ticket for admission.
Late Admission Advisory
- You are strongly advised to arrive before the performance start time.
- Latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has begun. There will be no re-admission for this performance.
- Exceptions may be made at Esplanade's discretion depending on the nature of the performance.

- No unauthorised photography, video and audio recording is allowed for this event.
- Please note that photographs and videos of patrons may be taken at this event for use in our archival and publicity material.
